Guy Grossi’s ‘Pezzo’, is a new addition to Melbourne’s ever evolving food scene. The word Pezzo means ‘piece’ in Italian, which is a perfect description of their signature pockets of delicious fillings. The wordmark was developed with 1950’s Rome as the inspiration, along with the merging of Italian and Melbourne cultures. The patterns and collages pay a nostalgic homage to the materials and textures found in Rome.

The photography collage and packaging is an interpretation of the Pezzo (all designed around excitement coming from within). The characters are intentionally kitsch and play on the cheesiness of the 1950’s.
